100 KW solar panels installed at Coimbatore railway station

G.N.S) Dt. 29 Coimbatore A New Delhi-based firm has begun installing around 400 solar panels on the shelters in all the six platforms in the first phase.
Coimbatore Junction, in a bid to reduce dependency on conventional source of energy, will install 100 KW solar panels to tap green energy.
During the next phase, the authorities plan to install the panels on the station buildings as well.
