IMP Powers provides update on its foray in renewable energy
IMP Powers announced its successful foray into the renewable energy space.
The company announced the successful trial completion upto 31 May and 4×5 kW turbines are generating power at a record of 70% PLF and has fed more than 80000kWh units till now in the grid. From Tune, the local assembly of Turbines has started in IMP Silvassa.
The company’s first Small Hydro Project BAIRAS 2X750kWat Drass which has worked all throughout the peak winter and generating upto 750KW (one plant commissioned) with no breaks in temperature upto -37C.
This is the first project commissioned under Hon’ble Prime Minister Ladakh Scheme with the capacity of 2×750 kW. The plant is feeding more than 1000 families in town along with Army Headquarters. The second Phase of Bairas with the capacity of 1x 750 KW is being commissioned this month.
The Second Project SANGRAH (2x750kW) in Kargil is under pre-commissioning and by the month end it will be commissioned.
