Senvion wins order for Quixwood Moor Wind Farm totaling 27 MW
Senvion, a leading global manufacturer of wind turbines, has signed its first UK contract with NTR plc to supply ten Senvion MM92 and three Senvion MM82 turbines to the Quixwood Moor Wind Farm. The Wind Farm, located in Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders, will have a total rated output of 26.65 megawatts (MW) and will produce enough electricity to power more than 14,000 homes each year. Senvion also concluded a 15 year maintenance contract with NTR for the project. The first turbines for the Quixwood Moor Wind Farm are scheduled for delivery in August 2016.
