Adamant licenses e1’s S-Series Hydrogen Generator for Mobile Emergency Fuel Cell Power Solution

BEND, Ore.: Element 1 Corp (“e1”), a leading developer of hydrogen generation technology, today announced it has signed a technology license agreement for its S-Series Hydrogen Generator with China based Adamant Innovation Hydrogen Energy (“Adamant”). Under the agreement, e1 will provide a license to its industry-leading hydrogen generation technology as well as engineering consulting services to advance future versions of the Adamant’s fuel cell power systems.

Adamant is located in Guangzhou China and is focused on producing mobile Fuel Cell Power solutions which provide mobile emergency power for municipal utilities. Adamant’s management team has been active in providing fuel cell related power solutions for the last 10 years and are now ready to bring their latest mobile fuel cell power solution to market. The initial focus will be providing emergency mobile back-up power to municipalities providing road and utility repairs.

“We continue to see increased levels of fuel cell activity from OEMs throughout the global energy industry,” said Dave Edlund, e1’s Chief Executive Officer. “The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of hydrogen energy technologies to reduce emissions in pursuit of a Clean Energy World. e1 has developed and provides world class hydrogen generation technology that produces hydrogen with no NOx, no SOx, and no Particulate Emissions from methanol and water.” The collaboration with Adamant is expected to result in the production of more than 1,800 mobile power trucks in 2019 and 2020.

Jeff Gao, Adamant’s General Manager stated, “We were looking for a hydrogen generator that could easily scale to produce hydrogen for fuel cell solutions from 2 kW to 20 kW. e1’s industry leading technology is proven, and our agreement allows us to manufacture the product in China and be very cost competitive against legacy diesel power solutions, which is the key to commercial success.” Mr. Gao continued, “We have been impressed with e1’s capabilities and look forward to our collaboration in China’s rapidly growing hydrogen economy.”
