GTM Research confirms Solar-Log™ position as the world market leader in residential and commercial PV monitoring
GTM Research (Boston,Massachusetts, U.S.) and SoliChamba Consulting (San Francisco, California, U.S.) conducted a global market analysis of PV monitoring software. In the Residential and Commercial segments monitored by Solar-Log™ in 2015, GTM Research confirms the PV monitoring specialist SolarLog™ as the global leader. In the overall-ranking, SDS achieved an impressive second place.
More than 50 companies with activities in the segments Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Utility-Scale were analyzed in the report, titled
‘Global PV Monitoring 2016-2021: Software, Markets, and Leading Vendors’. Both the technical and economical aspects of the companies were carefully examined and compared. With its Solar-Log™ monitoring system, Solare Datensysteme GmbH monitors over 10.596 GWp and 242,002 plants, at the date of the report (January), a market share of approx 5 %. The Solar-Log™ clearly outperforms its competitors. As for May 2016, SDS monitors a total output of 10.84 GWp from 248.101 plants worldwide.
