Acquired order worth USD 19.2 million in Egypt. Signed energy saving contract with leading operator cement
TerniEnergia , smart energy company active in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste and energy management, listed on the Star segment of the Italian Stock Exchange and the Italeaf Group, as part of the business internationalization process EPC photovoltaic, has been awarded a contract worth approximately $ 19.2 million related to the creation in Egypt of a photovoltaic plant of industrial size of the total output of 47 MWp, on behalf of a leading Italian utility.
The plant will be installed in locations Benban about 900 km from Cairo on an area of about 150 hectares. The contract calls for the EPC activities (engineering, procurement and construction) without the supply of photovoltaic modules and inverters. The construction site will be used to full capacity more than 250 workers. The project involves the use of 3Sun panels (produced in Italian factories Catania) mounted on traditional steel structures.
In addition, the Company announces that it has signed an energy efficiency lighting contract with the formula TPF (third party financing) of the type shared savings, worth about € 0.6 million on behalf of a leading operator in the Italian cement. The intervention, which TerniEnergia will also heal the appearance of EPC “turnkey” will be performed on a plant in Lombardy and will provide for the replacement of traditional light 4497 points with 2853 new lighting units of the latest generation LED products with proprietary technology Group , with an expected savings of about 1GWh / year.
