The three distribution companies, namely, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JVVNL), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (AVVNL) and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JdVVNL) (herein after referred to as Discoms or Petitioners), collectively had filed this petition for determination of Additional Surcharge under Section 42 (4) and 39 (2)(d) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (in short the Act) read with regulation 4(2) and 16 of RERC (Terms and Conditions for Open Access) Regulations, 2004 (in short OA Regulations, 2004).
