BEIJING: * China will cut subsidies to some of newly installed solar power generators from July 1, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country’s macro-economic planner, said on Tuesday
* For distributed solar plants that generate power mostly for consumption by targeted industries and commercial users, the subsidy level will be lowered to 0.10 yuan ($0.0148) per kilowatt hour (kWh), the state planner said
* The NDRC also set guidance prices for on-grid tariffs for newly installed centralized solar plants at 0.40 yuan per kWh, 0.45 yuan per kWh and 0.55 yuan per kWh depending on the regions.
