BayWa teams with Geenex on 350MW of PV power plant projects in US

Renewable energy firm BayWa r.e has partnered with US PV project developer, Geenex Solar to build 350MW of PV power plant projects across North Carolina and Virginia. BayWa r.e. will provide turn-key engineering, procurement, construction, financing and O&M services. BayWa r.e said the first project would be a 5MW project located in Northampton, North Carolina. The Hemlock project has started construction and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016, according to the company. Construction on a number of the projects are expected to start in the coming months with energy deliveries from the portfolio expected in 2017 and 2018 and range in size from 20MW to 100MW and are in various stages of development.
