KPI Global Infrastructure Limited (KPIGIL) has received a 12.50 MW solar power project under the Captive Power Project (CPP) category from Anupam Rasayan India Limited, Surat.

KPIGIL, a part of KP Group, is the leading solar power company from Gujarat. In a regulatory filing with the BSE, the company disclosed that it has received the Letter of Intent for the 12.50 MW project.

The work has already been started on the project worth INR 43 Cr at Ochhan village in Gujarat’s Bharuch district.

Faruk Patel, KPIGIL CMD stated “The 12.50 MW solar power project order from Anupam Rasayan is a feather in our cap, and validates the faith of clients in our execution capabilities and expertise. We look forward to executing the project well before the stipulated time.”

Anupam Rasayan is investing INR 43 Cr in the 12.50 MW solar power project to cut dependence on non-renewable energy sources, rationalise power costs and reduce its carbon footprint. The company came out with its initial public offering or IPO in the month of March.

The company expects that the investment will help it to save approximately Rs 10 Crore per annum through lower power costs for the next 25 years. KPIGIL has already operationalised nearly 100 MW solar power capacity in Sudi, Tanchha, Bhimpura, and Ranada villages of Bharuch. The company has finalized the roadmap to meet its target of 1000 MW solar power capacities by the year 2025.
