China’s National Energy Administration (NEA) cuts the solar target of the country by 20% from 150 GW to 110 GW by 2020. According to consultancy Asia Europe Clean Energy Advisory Co. Ltd. (ACEA) the 110 GW is split into 60 GW (distributed generation) and the remaining 50 GW shall be made up by 45 GW ground-mounted utility-scale systems and 5 GW of CSP. AECEA founder Frank Haugwitz considers this 110 GW target as a »minimum target«.
