Risen Energy Announces Construction of the World’s Largest Solar PV Carport In Hangzhou Bay
The largest PV carport is under construction in Hangzhou Bay from the first half of year 2015. The first phase, capacity is 20MW, will use 255W high quality PV modules from Risen Energy.The project total capacity is 55MW, cover area about 20 soccer fields, which can be parked more than 20000 vehicles. It becomes the largest BIPV project in the world and will be used as the parking for employees’ cars in Shanghai Volkswagen Ningbo Branch. The project is a typical case that Hangzhou Bay promotes the comprehensive development of the land.
Hangzhou Bay will combine the future city planning, wisdom city and low-carton city to accelerate implementing the comprehensive development projects. It will overcome the urban disease and promote the sustainable development.
