Markus Nikles wants to be the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Meyer Burger – EQ Mag Pro
Meyer Burger Technology AG appoints Markus Nikles to the Executive Board as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will take up his position on September 1, 2022.
Markus Nikles, a Swiss national (born in Interlaken in 1972), is an effective CFO with an international track record. As CFO within the Meyer Burger Group, he will be responsible for the areas of finance, controlling, IT, risk management, the internal control system and investor relations.
Markus Nikles has held leading positions in finance at the Swiss Bühler Group for more than 20 years, with positions in Switzerland, the USA, Germany and China. He is very familiar with the financial management of international industrial companies, with group and project controlling, liquidity planning and cash pooling as well as net working capital management.
Markus Nikles obtained the Executive Master of Corporate Finance (EMCF) from the IFZ Institute for Financial Services Zug (Switzerland) in 2005. Previously, he completed his studies as a business economist HWV at the University of Applied Sciences Ostschweiz Chur (Switzerland).

Until the new CFO joins, his tasks will remain divided among the Management Board. The previous CFO, Nathalie Benedikt, left the company at the end of March 2022 for personal reasons.
