What is The Fundamentals of Battery Energy Storage handbook?
The South African Energy Storage Association has partnered with VUKA Group to develop and publish a battery energy storage guide called The Fundamentals of Battery Energy Storage.
The handbook is an exploration of four main areas:
1) frequently asked questions,
2) technical matters,
3) regulatory matters, and
4) finance, investment and commercial considerations.
The purpose of this handbook is to provide a practical guideline to anyone who is considering installing an energy storage system.
The Fundamentals of Battery Energy Storage guide will be in the form of an e-book aimed at decision-makers with little or no experience in managing the day-to-day power requirements of their businesses but who are now responsible for a substantial capital investment project.
