Nippon Benex Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture; President: Yohei Kobayashi; hereinafter: Nippon Benex Corporation) is a solar power plant named Benex, which rents the roof of Prologis Park Kobe 5, a logistics facility in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. We are pleased to inform you that the Kobe 5 Solar Port has started operation.

“Benex Kobe 5 Solar Port” is the 14th “roof rental” solar power plant for Benex Japan. Located in Kobe Techno Logistics Park, the logistics facility “Prologis Park Kobe 5” completed in March 2021 has been under construction by installing 2,943 solar modules on the roof. It is working. Annual power generation is expected to be approximately 1,860,000 kWh, equivalent to approximately 620 ordinary households.

With the operation of “Benex Kobe 5 Solar Port”, the number of in-house power plants owned by Benex Japan has increased to 31 (approximately 29.5 MW). Of these, 14 solar power plants (approximately 20.6 MW) are leased roofs.

Japan Benex aims to further popularize renewable energy through the construction of solar power plants.
