CIDCO Issue Tender for Supply of 1.24 MW rooftop solar system in Navi Mumbai – EQ Mag Pro
The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) has encouraged developers to submit expressions of interest under a public-private partnership model to install 1.24 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems. The systems will be equipped with a net metering set up across selected railway station buildings and bridges in Navi Mumbai. The successful developer is required to provide full operation and maintenance for a period of 25 years.
As per the issued guidelines, the work must be completed within 18 months of the work order being issued. The selected developer will be in charge of surveying, designing, financing, procurement or manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning, and grid synchronisation of the project for the contracted capacity and power supply. At the respective interconnection points of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company, the excess energy will be supplied to the grid as part of the net metering programme before the scheduled commissioning date. The deadline for bid submission is November 17, 2022
Recently in September 2022, The Maharashtra government announced the target of installing 200,000 solar agricultural pumps in the state. According to the target, 100,000 such pumps will be established by the Maharashtra Energy Development Authority. However, the remaining ones will be set up by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited
