New Delhi: There is a strong buying and selling of electric vehicles in the Indian market. One of the biggest concerns with electric vehicles is driving range. This problem can also be solved with the charging infrastructure becoming overwhelming. But, it is still being improved in India. Some vehicles are getting better driving range. Luxury EVs have a good range. But, the price is high. But, some premium electric vehicles are also good. Also it is cheaper compared to luxury vehicles. 

Kia EV6

Kia India has recently started bookings for its EV6. The EV6 electric car comes with a 77.4 kWh battery pack. It is claimed that a single full charge gives a driving range of 708 km. The Kia EV6 is offered in two variants GT Line and GT Line AWD. It is priced at Rs 60.95 lakh and Rs 65.95 lakh respectively. Both these prices are ex-showroom.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is one of the standout looking cars on the market right now. This car has a battery pack of 72.6 kWh. It is claimed to have a range of 631 km on a single charge. It uses the same platform that underpins the Kia EV6. The Ioniq 5 is priced lower than the EV6 in India as a CKD (Complete Knockdown) unit. It is priced at Rs 44.95 lakh ex-showroom.

BYD Atto 3

The next number in this list is this car. BYD has an electric SUV. The brand has already delivered 700 units. This electric car comes with very different features and style. The electric SUV has a claimed 60.48 kWh battery pack and a driving range of 521 km. The BYD Atto 3 comes in two versions. A standard is priced at Rs 33.99 lakh. Besides, there is a special edition. It is priced at Rs 34.49 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

MG ZS EV

MG’s first electric vehicle in the Indian market was the ZS EV. It had a battery pack of 50.3 kWh. The driving range after a single charge is 461 km. The MG ZS EV is offered in two variants Excite and Exclusive. It is priced at Rs 23.38 lakh and Rs 27.30 lakh. Both these prices are ex-showroom.
