Waaree Energies secures 398 MW solar orders for key renewable project – EQ

In Detail : Waaree Energies Ltd has secured two major orders totalling 398 MW for solar module supply. These orders, comprising a 249 MW and a 149 MW project, come from a prominent customer involved in renewable energy projects in India.
The contracts involve Waaree’s high-efficiency Glass N-type Topcon modules, rated at 580/585Wp. These modules are known for their durability, energy efficiency, and advanced technology. The modules are set to be supplied in the 2025-26 financial year.
Waaree is the only Indian solar panel manufacturer featured in the RETC PV Benchmarking Report 2024. It is also recognised as a Tier 1 solar module manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF). The company operates an NABL-accredited testing lab to ensure top-tier quality and performance.
These new orders reflect Waaree Energies’ strong reputation in solar PV manufacturing and its commitment to supporting India’s renewable energy sector. The projects will enhance the country’s renewable energy capacity, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to sustainability efforts.
