Having built end-to-end capability, including design, turnkey execution, servicing, and financial structuring of captive assets, 4PEL is positioned to take a leadership role in a disruptive market segment. They are looking for a highly-motivated individual who will be responsible for scoping and planning, execution, tracking and providing technical support for larger photovoltaic projects.
This is a great opportunity to create a direct impact by playing a key role in successful execution of projects, tracking all the activities from planning, to erection, commissioning, managing a team and optimally utilizing the allotted budget.
What’s on offer? A highly competitive annual salary (up to 8 Lacs) based on your relevant experience. Variable would comprise of 10-20% of the fixed salary based on the performance.
Detailed Responsibilities:
a) Project Planning
Plan project timelines and sequencing of all activities required for solar rooftop installations
Working with bill of materials (BoM) and manpower resource plan to efficiently deliver completed projects
b) Site Execution
Capable of overseeing project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, at expected quality, and allotted budget
Adjusting for any deviations in project plan and providing guidance on technical changes required
Support site engineer in on-site management, supervision and coordination of all manpower and subcontracted work
c) Engineering Design
Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering concepts as it relates to solar rooftop
Ability to interpret and work alongside technical drawings and specifications – making adjustments real-time as required
Does this sound like you?
A Degree or Diploma in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering highly preferred
4-8 years of experience with site management of electro-mechanical or civil engineering projects
Experience in project planning and budgeting, and erection and commissioning of industrial or energy-related projects
Experience in renewable energy space, solar rooftop, or PV projects highly preferred
Experience with project budgeting, preparing project Bill of Materials (BOM) and vendor management preferred
Open to travelling 25-50% of the time for site visits
Efficiency in computer skills like Auto Cad preferred
Team management experience (including blue-collar) preferred
