KfW IPEX-Bank, Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC and Neoen join forces once more, to support 18 French renewable energy projects worth over EUR 270 million

KfW IPEX-Bank and Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC are lending a total of EUR 50 million to French energy producer Neoen for two wind farm projects generating 11 and 14 MW respectively. These projects are the first in a portfolio of 18 solar and wind projects in France which amount to 170 MW, requiring funds of EUR 270 million. The financing arrangement may also involve other banks by means of syndication. This is not the first time KfW IPEX-Bank has backed Neoen. KfW IPEX-Bank and Neoen share a long-standing partnership. The two companies recently worked together on the 312 MW Hornsdale wind farm in Australia in 2015 and on a 76-MW portfolio of solar and wind projects in France in 2016.

CEPAC is also a loyal supporter of Neoen, the energy producer having been one of the bank’s structured finance team’s first clients. “We are proud to be working with KfW IPEX-Bank and CEPAC again.
