Panda Green Energy to Explore “Belt and Road” Project Joining Hands with CRCC to Boost Advanced Green Productivity and Enhance China’s Green Determination
Alan Li, Chief Executive Officer of Panda Green Energy Group Limited(“Panda Green Energy”, stock code: 00686.HK, formerly known as United Photovoltaics Group Limited), and his team visited the Beijing Headquarter of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), and entered into investment cooperation agreement with China Railway Construction Investment Group after an in-depth discussion on the “Belt and Road” strategy with Wei Wang, General Manager of China Railway Construction Investment Group. The first clean energy project will be launched in Sri Lanka, with total installed capacity of 29.4MW. In the future, Panda Green Energy will work closely with CRCC and build Panda Power Plants along “Belt and Road” routes. CRCC is another Chinese large state-owned enterprise allying with Panda Green Energy strategic plan on green “Belt and Road” following China Huarong.On behalf of Panda Green Energy, Wei Jiang, Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of Project Acquisition and Development Committee, entered into Sri Lanka project agreement with Kang Tang, Deputy General Manager of China Railway Construction Investment Group
