Bringing yet another innovative option to Texas electricity consumers, TXU Energy has announced TXU Energy Solar AdvantageSM, the market’s first electricity plan that’s 100 percent backed by solar power generated in Texas.
The plan comes on the heels of the company’s new, high-efficiency solar rooftop offer, and it further expands consumers’ renewable electricity choices from TXU Energy.
“TXU Energy Solar Advantage is a great alternative for consumers who want clean Texas solar power and long-term price protection but can’t or don’t want to invest in a rooftop system,” said Scott Hudson, chief operating officer for TXU Energy.
The new solar electricity plan and recent solar rooftop offer are the latest renewable energy options from TXU Energy. The company also has an electricity plan that’s backed by 100 percent Texas wind energy, as well as the option to add 100 percent Texas wind energy credits to almost any TXU Energy plan, such as TXU Energy Free Mornings and EveningsSM and plans that offer cash back rewards.
