Adani Power net loss narrows down to Rs 453.85 crore in Q1FY18
Adani Power reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017, today.
Total sales for this quarter, Q1FY18, came in at Rs. 5590.19 crore. This represents a 12 per cent sequential decline and 3.79 per cent YoY increase.
Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 894.11 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 15.99 per cent.
It reported net loss of Rs. 453.85 crore in Q1FY18 vs loss of Rs. 4960.53 crore in Q4FY17.
The company’s stock opened at Rs. 31.10 on the BSE and recorded intra-day high and low of Rs. 31.10 and Rs. 28.40, respectively.
Adani Power Limited engages in the generation and transmission of electricity under long term power purchase agreements and on merchant basis in India. It generates electricity through thermal and solar energy sources.
