SHANGHAI, Sept. 30, 2017 — Hareon Solar Technology Company Limited (SSE: 600401), one of China’s largest solar energy companies, and ReNew Power Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (“ReNew Power”), India’s leading renewable energy Independent Power Producer, announced the commissioning of their 172 MW (143 MWAC) solar project in Dichipally, Telangana, India.
The 172 MW solar power plant is spread over approximately 1100 acres of land, and is connected to the Dichipally substation in Telangana via a 220 kV transmission line. Hareon Solar supplied more than 520,000 high efficiency multi-crystalline silicon solar modules for this project and the energy generated from this project, will be sold under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to the Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana. This project is the largest joint-venture project between Hareon Solar and ReNew Power and was commissioned ahead of schedule.

ReNew Power and Hareon Solar have collaborated to jointly develop, build and operate solar projects of approximately 300 MW generation capacity over the last two years in Adoni, Cumbum, Mandamarri, and now in Dichipally.
