Green Ripples commissions its maiden developer project
New Delhi, 10th December 2017: Green Ripples Private Limited, a veteran player in the solar rooftop sector has commissioned its maiden developer project on 9th December 2017. The 130 KW solar power plant has been installed at Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi. Green Ripples has plans to execute over 2.00 MW of similar projects in Delhi under the RESCO project awarded by Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Ltd. (IPGCL), Delhi, the nodal agency for the state. The entire capacity of 2.00 MW is planned to be completed by end of the current financial year out of which 500 KW will be operational by end of Dec 2017.
Green Ripples has acquired similar projects on RESCO mode in Central Indian States of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh too. Green Ripples has also secured two projects of Indian Railways with a consortium partner in Bihar State for aggregate capacity of 1.00 MW. The company has churned out road map to create 20 MW of solar power assets by March 2019 and 50 MW by March 2022.
Green Ripples started in year 2011 has commissioned almost 300 solar rooftop projects as an EPC in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana States. Green Ripples has also installed over 500 solar pumps in Central India in the recent past.
Commenting on the strategy of the company, Mr. Rajeev Sood, Director, Green Ripples said the company has gained vast experience in execution, operation and maintenance of solar power plants across a wide range of sectors in the past 7 years. In the process the company had developed in-house management & technical team, which is, fully equipped to steer the developer business. The company is therefore leveraging its experience and presence in the solar rooftop segment to create business opportunities and high quality portfolio of assets.
