TMEIC Completes the Integration of the Power Electronics Manufacturing Facility and Inaugurates New Corporate Office in Bangalore
Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (TMEIC) of Tokyo, Japan has announced the completion of the integration of the Power electronics factory acquired form AEG last year which is in full operation now into its existing company (TMEIC India) operation. TMEIC India also is pleased to announce the starting (Inauguration) their corporate office in Bangalore.
In line with “Make in India program” TMEIC Japan has invested in India to manufacture its products in India Specifically in the state of Karnataka to cater to the Indian market requirement as well as use these facilities for supporting the Global business of TMEIC. These products would cater to varied infrastructure industries in India like Oil and Gas, Steel, cement, water, petrochemicals which are poised for significant growth in next several years as well as the new emerging sectors like Solar energy. TMEIC achieved the global top share of High Voltage PV invertor last year and factory in Bangalore is playing a very important role for TMEIC, The greenfield Motor factory that is being constructed at KIADB Industrial Area in Vasanth Narsapura Phase 2 Dist: Tumkur is in advanced stages of completion and will start operations in next few months.
The new TMEIC India operations with the corporate office, located at The Millenia Tower A, 10th Floor, # 1&2 Murphy Road, Halasuru, Bangalore, India – 560 008, will be inaugurated on October 12 ,2015 by Mr Kiyotaka Machida, President of Toshiba Mitsubishi- Electric Industrial Systems corporation in presence of all the leadership team from TMEIC Japan.With offices on five continents, TMEIC designs and develops advanced automation systems, Motors and drives. The company has major operations in Asia, North America, South America and ASEAN. Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (TMEIC) was formed in 2003 from the merger of the industrial systems departments of Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.
