It was a proud moment for RelyOn Solar on 5th November 2017, when their 1 MW solar power system installation on Raj Bhavan Pune was inaugurated by Maharashtra Governor and CM.

RelyOn Solar was awarded the tender for this project on 7th October 2016 through competitive bidding and the work for the project started from February 2017. With 3,500 panels the plant is capable of generating more than 15 lakh units of power each year.

The project is another milestone for RelyOn Solar towards achieving their dream of becoming the best solar system installer in the country and enable large-scale adaptation of solar. RelyOn Solar with its customer-centric solutions and high-quality installations has completed more than 2000 installations across India.

As a technology company based on continuous innovation, they have developed a strong research culture and is at the forefront of transforming the country’s energy landscape through their innovative and customised solar power solution. Their power plants are known for highest power generation per kWp basis. Their Petrol pump applications have resulted in 700+ applications across the country. They have made solar installation work when net metering was not available through DG controller and Reverse power controller and have also developed lithium-ion batteries with BMS for Off-grid systems. Their leakage proof solar system can create space and is an excellent solution for cities where space is premium.They are one of the few companies two are working on the 24-hour energy solution with solar power. They offer a wide range of services ranging from rooftop solar, Off-Grid solar power system to MW scale utility solar power plants.

Their Raj Bhavan system installation has a total saving of 50,400 tons of CO2 over a period of 25 years and is equivalent to the plantation of 2,01,600 trees. For the inauguration Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis and Honourable Governor Maharastra State, Mr. C. Vidyasagar Rao. along with Honourable Energy Minister Shri Chandrashekar Bawankule and Honourable cabinet Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Shri Girish Bhapat were present sharing their plans to power all three Raj Bhavans in Maharashtra with Renewable energy. The government of Maharastra has also deployed many state-level initiatives to increase and spread the use of solar energy in the state. In Maharastra, RelyOn Solar has a total installation of __MW.

Speaking on the topic Dr. Gundu Sabde CMD RelyOn said “The increasing renewable power generation will bring a transformation which will enable free market economy in the energy sector. This transformation may take a decade but its eminent not only in India but across the globe”.
