Emami plans to ramp-up cement and solar biz in FY17: Sources

Skin and healthcare FMCG company, Emami Ltd is planning capital expenditure in its cement and solar business for FY17. Quoting sources, Priya Sheth of CNBC-TV18 said that Emami plans to ramp-up its cement capacity to 10-15 million tonne and solar capacity to 500 MW from 70 MW at present. Emami plans to invest Rs 3000 crore in its Chattisgarh cement plant and expects it to be fully operational by September 2016.
