Project Developer of the Year 2020-21 Platinum was awarded to ACME Solar on May 26, 2021. EQ organized ‘India Solar Awards 2020-21’ through virtual mode for the solar industry of India.
The event was powered by EQ iSearch and conducted on the basis on solar achievements of 2020-21. Renew Power shared this award with ACME solar.
Sandeep Kashyap, President at ACME Solar accepted the award and thanked EQ for the consideration. “Since March 2020-21, it has been a challenging time for the industry.
In spite of that, all the developers including ACME are working on executing projects. We are currently working on almost 2.9 GW of execution of projects in the state of Rajasthan.
We believe that we will be able to complete all our projects in the timeline in terms of the PPAs we have signed up for. In fact, one of the largest projects we are doing at a single location is 1200MW AC translates into 1800 MW DC. One of the largest in its kind that we are currently executing in Rajasthan.
I would like to thank all the employees who are engaged, the Government, engineering, supply chain, projects, quality teams, business development and everybody who contributed to a large extent in terms of getting up to this level for ACME.”
ACME is generally known for innovation. “We are driven by technology and we believe in bringing new and disruptive technologies into the industry. I am proud to share that currently, we are very close to commercializing or commissioning our first green hydrogen and green ammonia plant which is one of the first commercial plant in India and probably in Asia.
We have also announced that we are coming up with a large-scale facility of 2200 metric tonnes per day of green ammonia plant in Oman.” ACME Solar was founded in the year 2003 and is currently present across 13 states of India.
