Adani Green Energy Limited received the ‘Project Developer of the Year 2020-21’ award at the EQ E-Award show in May 2021. Powered by EQ iSearch, the India Solar Awards 2020-21 was conducted on May 26, 2021 for the solar industry of India.
The solar awards were based on the achievements of the year 2020-21. Adani Green shred this award with Azure Power.Manish Karna, Head- Business Development, Adani Green accepted the award.
He said, “This award would not have been possible without this relentless work of the team be it engineering, procurement or construction. I am taking this award on their behalf. We are here to create value for the stakeholders.
We will continue to embrace the situation and achieve our target of 25 GW by 2025. We want to be the largest solar developer across the world by 2025 and the largest renewable developer of the world by 2030.”
Adani Green is amongst the largest renewable companies in India. The current project portfolio of AGEL is 13,990 MW. The company is a part of the Adani Group’s promise to provide a better, cleaner and greener future for the nation.
AGEL develops, builds, operates, maintains and owns utility-scale grid-connected solar and wind farm projects. The electricity generated through these projects is supplied to the government entities (central and state) and government-backed corporations.
