Adani’s Oz arm inks power purchase pact with energy retailer

New Delhi, Oct 6 – Adani Enterprises Ltd today said its arm Adani Rugby Run has entered into a power purchase agreement with a power retailer in Australia for supplying 80 per cent of electricity generated by its solar plant at Rugby Run.
“The company’s Australian subsidiary, Adani Rugby Run, has signed a power purchase agreement with one of the leading power retailers for the 80 per cent of the power generated by the solar plant at Rugby Run, near central western Queensland town of Moranbah,” Adani Enterprises said in a BSE filing.
According to the statement, Rugby Run will have initial generation capacity of 65 MW in phase one. The power purchase agreement will remain in place until December 31, 2030.
