Algeria Extends 1GW Solar Tender, Again – EQ Mag Pro

Algeria has extended the deadline of its flagship tender for 1GW solar PV capacity beyond 15 June citing requests by “national and international investors [to] deepen their technical and financial studies,” state news agency APS said on 16 June, adding that the new deadline would be announced “next week.” The original deadline was 15 April.
The tender represents the first element of Algeria’s plans to add 15GW of renewables capacity by 2035. The bid round offers 11 projects ranging in size from 50MW to 300MW
