In Detail : New Delhi – Ahmedabad-based renewable energy company Amrut Energy Pvt Ltd has raised ₹100 crores in funding from private equity investors. The investment will support the company’s expansion plans, enhance manufacturing capabilities, drive research and development, and scale operations in underserved regions.
Founded in 2016 by Arvind Patel, Amrut Energy specializes in solar water pumps and clean energy solutions aimed at transforming India’s agricultural sector. By providing farmers with access to reliable solar-powered irrigation, the company has helped reduce operational costs and promote sustainable farming practices.
Arvind Patel, reflecting on the company’s journey, said, “We are committed to driving India’s renewable energy transition while empowering farmers with sustainable and cost-effective solutions.”
