Ankleshwar gets town hall with solar panels
Bharuch/Surat: A town hall having capacity of 500 persons with solar panel on the roof was inaugurated at Ankleshwar by minister for state for cooperatives Ishwarsinh Patel on Thursday. Named
‘Maa Sharda Town Hall,’ the building is constructed at the cost of Rs10 crore at E N Ginwala High School compound in around 30,000 sqft area.
President, Ankleshwar nagarpalika, Minaben Patel said, “The people of Ankleshwar old city did not have such facility. The town hall will allow performance of local artists and other cultural events.”
The solar panels and poly carbonate rooftop will save lot of power and thus the hall can be offered at reasonable rates to various cultural organizations. The hall is centrally air conditioned, chairman, standing committee of Ankleshwar nagarpalika, Sandeep Patel said.
