Provided that the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates issued under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for recognition and issue of Renewable Energy Certificate or Renewable Energy Generation) Regulations, 2010 as amended from time to time, shall also be treated as fulfilment of the Renewable Power Purchase Obligation (RPPO) prescribed herein.
