Application for determination of tariff for Biomass (Non Bagasse) based Renewable Energy project under sections 62, 86(a), 86(e) and 94(f) of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for determination of tariff for Renewable Energy Sources, Renewable Purchase Obligations and Renewable Energy Certificates) Regulations, 2017 as amended from time to time.
ORDER
1. The case has been heard through Video conferencing on 22.12.2020, as scheduled, in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
2. At the outset, Shri. R. K. Jain, Advisor, appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submitted that the project for which the PPA was entered into with HPPC has been shelved. Therefore, the tariff, as prayed for in the petition, is not required to be determined and requested the Commission to allow to withdraw the present petition. Ld. Counsel for the Respondent stated that they do not have any objection to the request of the Petitioner, subject to the necessary action to be taken by them, as per the relevant clauses of the PPA.
3. Acceding to the submissions of the Petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
