Arts College to host international meet on renewable energy
Principal says around 600 young scientists are invited
Government Arts College, Rajamahendravaram, is going to organise international conference on Renewable Energy Research and Education (RERE) on February 9 and 10, 2018 in association with the Conn Center for RERE, University of Louisville, USA.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, college Principal R. David Kumar said that they had inked an MoU with the university last year for collaboration in academic research and student exchange. He said that they are inviting 500 to 600 young scientists from different countries and different States in the country to present papers on eight important topics.
The topics, include hydrogen and fuel cell, battery and super-capacitors, water splitting, biomass utilisation and conversation, solar energy and photovoltaic cells, renewable energy research and applications, energy materials design and fabrication and energy storage systems.
The Principal said that those papers presented during the conference will be carried in the journal of American Institute of Physics.
Mr. David Kumar released conference poster along with adviser and Vice-principal K. Anjaneyulu, organising secretaries Dr. K. Ramachandra Rao, J. Suneetha, C. Venkataramana and D. Krishna. He added the UGC is also sponsoring this international conference. The Principal said that all other details of the conference including registration fee, deadline for submitting papers will be available in their college website www.gcrjy.ac.in.
