
Avaada commits Rs 20,700 Cr to power Odisha’s green energy drive – EQ

This investment will support 1,500 MW of floating solar projects, two 1,000 MW pumped storage projects, and green energy equipment manufacturing, boosting the state’s clean energy transition.
Big push for renewable energy
Avaada Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Odisha government to develop large-scale renewable energy projects. The MoU signed at the Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The event which is inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlights Odisha’s growing role in India’s clean energy future.
Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada Group, stressed the company’s commitment, stating, “Our Rs 20,700 crore investment in renewable energy projects, including floating solar and pumped storage, demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and innovation.”
