Blink Charging Co. plans to expand its network of electric vehicle charging stations using cash from a January stock offering that raised about $221.4 million, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
Shares closed at $34.64 on Wednesday, having surged to around $60 from about $9 following the election of President Biden, who is proposing infrastructure investments to reduce carbon emissions.
Blink Charging earlier this month acquired Antwerp, Belgium based Blue Corner NV for roughly $24 million, adding about 7,000 charging stations. Blink Charging operated or sold around 23,000 charging stations internationally prior to the acquisition.
