Cemig Geração e Transmissão SA : CEMIG GT , a public electric energy concessionaire, makes public its intention to purchase projects/enterprises from wind and solar sources, associated with the purchase of incentivized electric energy, through the PUBLIC CALL NOTICE CEMIG GT – 01/2022 – WIND AND SOLAR PROJECTS AND ENTERPRISES WITH ASSOCIATED ENERGY PURCHASE.
GOAL:
Acquisition of projects and undertakings, associated with the purchase of incentivized electricity, aiming to enable the implementation and operation of wind and solar parks that are in line with Cemig’s Strategic Business Planning .
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Electric sector companies, project developers and investors.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE PUBLIC CALL:
- Sale of wind and solar projects, which may be associated with a contract for the sale of energy in the Free Market with the largest energy trader in the Brazilian market.
- The projects and undertakings must have a total installed capacity of at least 50 MW.
- Enterprises must have a grant issued by Aneel and are eligible for a 50% discount from the TUSD/TUST (or they must have filed the grant request by 02/28/2022 ).
- The selection of projects will be carried out through criteria described in the public notice, including characteristics and price.
- Purchase of projects and undertakings can be associated with the purchase of up to 50% of the energy produced ( PPA – Power Purchase Agreement ), according to the production profile (seasonality and modulation according to the source profile), with supply starting at from 2025 and PPA terms of 10 or 15 years.
The expression of interest can be carried out until June 14, 2022 and the criteria for participation are described in the public notice.
