Some of the highlights include:
1. Net Metering up to 5 MW
2. Behind the meter (BtM) Solar permitted up to sanctioned load
3. Group net metering permitted for the same consumer at different consumer metering number
4. Group net metering permitted.
5. Wheeling Charges and Wheeling losses for wheeling of surplus energy to other premises under Group Net Metering is exempted till the installed capacity of rooftop solar in Maharashtra reaches 5 GW
