Bruc acquires 384MW of Spanish solar – EQ Mag
The Spanish company has obtained six projects from Opdenergy in the provinces of Cádiz, Zaragoza, Teruel and Palencia
Spanish company Bruc has acquired six solar farms from Opdenergy totalling 384MW in Spain.
The projects are located in the provinces of Cádiz, Zaragoza, Teruel and Palencia, with a capacities totalling 116MW, 60MW, 114MW and 94MW in each province, respectively.
This adds to the 278MW of plants in the provinces of Seville, Soria and Zaragoza that Bruc has already acquired from Opdenergy.
These transactions are part of the agreement reached between the two companies in August 2021 for the sale and purchase of 20 solar projects totalling 1,101MW.
The development of the remaining 439MW, of which 107MW have an EIS or draft, that remains to be handed over is progressing on schedule and will be transferred according to the agreed timetable, Opdenergy said.
