Ceat to acquire 26% stake in Greenzest Solar
Greenzest is engaged in the business of owning, operating and maintenance of the Captive Generating Plant and supply of electricity.
Ceat Ltd. informed the exchanges that the company has now signed the share subscription and shareholders’ agreement (“SSHA”) with Greenzest Solar Private Limited (Greenzest) and Cleantech India OA Pte. Ltd. (Cleantech), for subscribing to at least 26% of total equity share capital of Greenzest, for a value note exceeding Rs5cr.
Greenzest Solar Private Limited is promoted as a special purpose vehicle, solely to undertake in the business of construction, operation and maintenance of the Captive Generating Plant and to supply, on captive basis, the power generated from the Captive Generating Plant to the Company.
Greenzest Solar Private Limited, is a private limited company incorporated on May 20, 2019.
The registered office of Greenzest is situated in Mumbai. Greenzest is inter alia, engaged in the business of owning, operating and maintenance of the Captive Generating Plant and supply of electricity.

CEAT Ltd ended at Rs937 down by Rs6.45 or 0.68% from its previous closing of Rs943.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs945 and touched a high and low of Rs951 and Rs928 respectively. A total of 2,24,515 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs3,802.51cr.
