Position Summary:
As a result of our continuing growth, Ujaas Energy has an opportunity for a knowledgeable, proactive Chief Engineer located in Indore . You will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and developing state-of-the-art string solar inverters for residential and commercial solar power conversion.
In this role you will develop string solar inverters from concept to final products, using state-of-the-art power conversion topologies to achieve high efficiency, high reliability, high power density and high performance and meet international safety standards.
As the head of the Research and Development team you will be able to research and evaluate the feasibility of new technologies and provide direction on the modern topologies to be used in solar inverters.
Manage technical aspects of projects by monitoring and managing project scope, plan and cost in order to achieve successful project completion.
Provide strong technical inputs to resolve complex technical challenges.
Lead engineering teams on a path of continual improvement; developing and improving standards and procedures to ensure we remain a leader in our industry.
Design and select components of power converters, including transformers, inductors, embedded microcontrollers, transistors, drivers, and EMI filters.
Design, model and simulate control and power circuits using simulation tools such as PSpice, Simulink, Matlab and etc…
Develop and execute design verification testing, design evaluation, design margins, and analysis of product performance to meet electrical specifications and regulatory compliance.
Perform design revisions and updates on new and existing products and assists in transferring designs to manufacturing, ensuring reliable and cost-effective production.
Provide technical support, mentoring and training of power electronic engineers and new team members.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience out of which 5 years experience in solar inverters design and a proven ability in designing high performance and cost effective solar inverters for medium to high volume manufacturing
Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering; Masters Degree or PhD preferred
Experience with solar inverter design requirements per international regulatory and product safety standards or related field will be preferred
Proven ability to work well as part of a team and lead a design team
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel occasionally, including international travel
Ability to establish effective working relationships throughout operational groups
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks

You are expected to have worked in design of Circuits used in Inverters or related product, like UPS, meters, String or Central Inverters, IGBT, Drives etc.
Experience of Power Electronics will be useful.

Remuneration will not be a constraint and will be best in the industry.
Salary: INR 35,00,000 – 60,00,000 P.A.
