DFM Foods to Invest in Belenus Solar Acquiring Rs96 Lakh Equity Shares

DFM Foods Limited has announced that it has agreed to make an investment in Belenus Solar Private Limited (BSPL) by acquiring or subscribing equity shares amounting to Rs96 lakh (5.57% of total paid-up capital of BSPL).
The Company is newly incorporated and not generated revenue from business for FY 2019-20.
BSPL owns, operates and maintains solar power plant for captive consumption at Village Biswan, Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The investment is made by the Company (DFM Foods) to get renewable energy which will benefit to the Company from cost saving perspective.
Belenus Solar Private Limited Profile:
BSPL was incorporated on July 2, 2019. BSPL is formed as special purpose vehicle and is engaged in the business of establishing, commissioning, setting up, operating and generating of electricity/ power supply through renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and/ or any other means including transmission, distribution, supply and sale of such power either directly or through transmission lines.
As the Company (BSPL) is into its first year of operations, turnover during last three financial years is not applicable.
At around 10:00 AM, DFM Foods was trading at Rs338 apiece down by Rs0.25 or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs338.25 apiece on the BSE.
