Subject: Selection for the post of Director (Tech), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited, a schedule ‘B’ CPSE.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) is seeking qualified candidates for the post of Director (Tech), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited, a schedule ‘B’ CPSE. the Scale of Pay of the post being Rs. 65,000-75,000/-. A copy of the job description for the post is enclosed.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Director (Technical) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director. He looks after Projects Technical services consisting of Wind, Solar, Biomass, Cogeneration, Small & Medium Hydro, Energy Efficiency & Conservation and Development, New Resources for Energy Generation, Appraisal, Monitoring, Co-ordination and Consultancy Services:
Qualification:
The applicant should be an Engineering graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/Institution. Applicants holding MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in management will be preferred.
Experience:
The applicant should have adequate technical/operational experience at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute, out of which at least two years during the last ten years should have been in New and Renewable Energy fields. Experience in dealing with Technical/Economical/Financial/Environmental appraisal of Projects, Project Monitoring and Technical Development & Commercialization in Renewable Energy Sector such as Wind, Small Hydro, Solar & Biomass Energy Sector would have added advantage.
