Eaton acquires EV charging tech manufacturer Green Motion SA
Green Motion’s charger designs and advanced power and billing management software are powerful additions to Eaton’s existing energy storage and power distribution offering
Power management company Eaton has announced that it has acquired Green Motion SA, a designer and manufacturer of electric vehicle charging hardware and related software, based in Switzerland.
“We trust this acquisition positions Eaton strongly as a company with a comprehensive and integrated energy transition offer for buildings – combining hardware, software and engineering services,” said Ashraf Yehia, Managing Director, Middle East, Eaton.
“Green Motion’s proven EV charging technology is a powerful addition to Eaton’s existing energy storage, management and power distribution offerings. Together these systems allow building owners to monitor and optimise the energy performance of their building and securely control energy assets.”
