French module manufacturer Eco Green Energy has started the construction of its 1GW solar PV module factory for 182 mm (M10) and 210 mm (G12) in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. The factory is scheduled to be finalized by the end of June 2021, said M. Dalibor NIKOLOVSKI, C.E.O of Eco Green Energy.

The factory will supply new & advanced PV module ATLAS and ATLAS PRO with a power output of 550W and 610W.

Eco Green Energy ATLAS series module, with 182mm wafers and 10BB half-cut cells technology, will increase the efficiency up to 21.5%.

This investment follows the strategy of Eco Green Energy to respond to the demand of the new generation and innovative PV modules from all its distributor and EPC partners worldwide.

New Production Line

The new production line will be fully automatic, combining the known-own of top brand Chinese machinery company. Moreover, with French engineering, production, and quality process, SOP, to build high-quality solar power modules. Significantly, this new production line will have 3 EL tests during the production process. That will be one after Welding, one before lamination, and one during the performance testing. Meanwhile, Eco Green Energy set up a new MES system to track all the production processes and raw materials. Also to separate non-defective products from defective ones. Eco Green Energy pursues manufacturing perfect solar PV modules with top brand machinery and a strict European production process.

Even though cost competition is more and more intense, Eco Green Energy pays particular attention to use only reliable raw materials. In order to provide only positive tolerance panels that respect standard IEC 61215 and IEC 61730.

Setting up the new 1GW factory with production lines for solar PV modules using M10 and G12 cells. This will enable Eco Green Energy to take advantage of the latest module manufacturing technology and high-potential market demands. It is also an opportunity for Eco Green Energy to accelerate its global expansion and boost its share of the PV module market for mono-crystalline products.

Eco Green Energy supplied PV modules in more than 50 countries in 2020, and plan to reach 75 distributors for 2021, and achieve more than 6 projects worldwide of more than 1.5 MW.
