In Detail : New Delhi – ENGIE, a global leader in low-carbon and energy solutions, has announced plans to significantly boost its renewable energy portfolio in India, aiming for a target of 7 GW by 2030. This initiative aligns with India’s ambitious goal of achieving “Net Zero Carbon” by 2045. ENGIE has been a prominent player in the Indian energy sector for the past 30 years. To mark this milestone, the company celebrates a decade of clean energy achievements with a current 2.3 GW renewable energy portfolio, with 1.1 GW already operational across seven Indian states.
