1. How much Inverters have you supplied to India till now, what is the target/expectation in this year and next year
More than 1.8Gw+ Supplied in indian market & in current year we have planning to achieve target more than 1Gw+ and as per current order situation sofar solar will try to achieve more than 1Gw+ Inverter order in current year.
2. Please share your Road Maps – Pricing, Technology etc…
SOFARSOLAR is currently focused on increasing its core technology R & D investment in Grid connected inverters, Energy storage inverters and it’s charging pile. With this in mind, they aim to improve the competitive advantages of their core product range and provide further valuable service to their customer base. SOFARSOLAR installed inverter in Rooftop, Utility, Commercial filed. We have major installation in rooftop projects. New versions of Inverters which are very compact in size make SOFARSOLAR differentiate from others with upgraded GPRS, WiFi & ZERO EXPORT Facilities in Single & Three phase Inverter. We are offering best upgraded technology quality product with better solution on affordable prices premium products.
3. What are your views on BIS and other tariff barriers:-
Yes, we strongly recommending to go with BIS Certified inverter. I think it should be compulsory BIS certification in govt. tender otherwise no meaning of BIS implementation and waste of time & money from Manufacturers/OEM companies.
In some state ,specially KARNATAKA Govt.agency BESCOM have a different very funny policy for brand approval in BESOCM Approved list. As per conversation with BESCOM team they said we are not considering approval based on BIS Certification & IEC certification, means BIS Certification is no meaning for BESCOM. It’s same complain from other inverter companies also, requesting to Govt.agency need to prepare common policy for all states brand approval where is government agencies involved., specially for BIS Certification.
4. What are your views on Inverters – Make in India
Actually earlier we have decided, will try to develop Make in India inverter concepts for Indian market but in a now days its postponed due to Covid situation & will think out later for manufacturing. In a 2022 Year SOFARSOLAR is a very aggressive with new agenda for Business expansion with new innovative products & some up-gradation on current products. Sooner or later Make in India concept will apply for Indian market & it will more useful for local distributors, installers for easy on time availability with better prices. If local manufacturer follow process as per required testing facility , production facilities & required manpower to do complete manufacturing task with proper testing/quality process then customer will get proper worth products as per invested coast.
